Howdy!

My name is Madeleine, I’m from Dallas, Texas, and I am currently a Fashion Design, Merchandising, and Branding major at Missouri State University with an emphasis in design. I’m an aspiring fashion/costume designer and overall restless creative who’s always in search of my next big project. With a background in theatre, I’m strongly driven by storytelling and working with a team to create the best final product possible, whether for a target market or a live audience!

Outside of classes, I’m involved in many organizations and jobs. Most notably, I am currently the president of The Association of Fashion & Design (AFAD) at MSU. Additionally, I was part of my school’s magazine, Sartorial, for four years. For work, I am currently the Studio Coordinator for the fashion program, as well as a server. I’ve also just wrapped up a job as a costume designer for a student-run theatre company at MSU.

During my off-hours, I am always pursuing all things creative. I am the lead photographer for a local jazz/R&B band. Furthermore, I co-founded a literary magazine, Fervent, that highlighted local writers in the southwest Missouri area. Otherwise, I like to do film photography, play electric guitar and bass, make jewelry, collect records, and do my own tattoos!
