Studio coordinator
In January of 2025, I was nominated by my professors and selected to be the student worker and studio coordinator for the DFM program at Missouri State University. Since taking on the role, I have completed projects assigned to me by my professors to improve their workflow within the program.
As Studio Coordinator, my job is to create and maintain an organized system in our programs sewing lab and photography studio for DFM majors to use. My day-to-day tasks consist of cataloguing fabrics, sorting materials, and educating students on how to properly use machinery located in the studio.
Outside of the studio, I have been tasked with creating signage and designing merchandise for prospective fashion students. In the Spring, I also get to help with editing our annual digital runway, as well as aid my professors with tasks leading up to, and on the day of, the event.
Design I created to be applied to a mousepad to be given to prospective MSU Fashion Design students
Signage I designed to be featured in a display case showcasing all of the different features of the DFM program.
