OUT.pdf is the first show that I’ve had the pleasure of costume designing. In collaboration with Laboratory Theatre Company, a student-run theatre organization on campus, I styled most of the looks in the show due to a limited budget. However, there were still a few pieces that I constructed for the show.

Written by Arden Dickson, OUT.pdf is a one act show that tells the all-too-real story of 5 girls on the executive board of a school newspaper, The Daily Pegasus, dealing with the fallout of a nasty typo on the front page of their latest issue, as well as the removal of DEI at their university, which puts their scholarships at risk.

For this production, I designed and hand-crafted The Daily Pegasus tote bags, as well as crafted a newspaper-print ghost sheet for “The Ghost of Joseph Pulitzer”. I also created character sketches and mood/trend boards for each actor (see below) to follow to ensure that the director and I’s vision was fulfilled to the best of our abilities with my limited budget.
