Course Description: Sustainable fashion is necessary to minimize the environmental impact on the industry. This course will develop understanding of digital technology garment construction and its connections to and association with fashion design and sustainability.

In this course, I focused on the connection between digital garment construction, fit, and sustainable fashion practices. A major part of my work involved grading patterns and refining fit to ensure garments could be produced accurately across different sizes. By improving pattern accuracy and fit before production, I learned how to minimize the number of physical samples needed, helping reduce material waste and supporting more sustainable design and production practices. I also explored digital technologies used in the apparel industry and how they can improve efficiency throughout the garment development process.
