Course Description: This course will educate students about current fashion fabrics and materials used in the production of apparel and accessories.

In this course, I learned about a variety of fabrics and materials used in the production of apparel and accessories. We explored the characteristics, uses, and identification of different fabrics and materials. The main project for the course was compiling a book of fabric swatches and identifying each fabric based on its characteristics. This project helped me develop a better understanding of fabric types, textures, properties, and how different materials are used in fashion design and production.
